I might watch Thirteen tonight.
I can’t explain why…cause it’s such a fucked up movie and so much terrible shit happens in it and it’s really distressing and awful but I have always loved this film. Except for the ending. The ending shits me a bit but other than that I think it’s a near perfect movie and performances from all actors are fucking out of this world. Evan Rachel Wood has come a long way but damn, she really showed her talent even 8 years ago. This movie makes me glad I had a good group of friends at that age, had a solid family life and a good relationship with my mum. I mean fuck, my mother came with me at age 13 to get my belly button pierced and ended up getting hers done as well! So I think this movie just really makes me grateful for how much better my life was at that age than hers.
